Weekly Meetings
We are a #fullremote company with relatively few meetings 📅
But these fixed appointments are extremely heterogeneous with each other.
On all of them, however, we try to:
▪ maintain a certain #rhythm (while also leaving room for some flashes of everydayness and spontaneity)
▪ respect the #time allotted for the meeting.
▪ ensure an #alternation of various meetings' voices, opinions and conduct.
As you can see, the various #issues addressed are also different from each other:
- 🙌 All-hands: vertical on business, goals achieved and roadmap for next week.
- 🧘♀ Venting: not talking about KPIs, nor goals. A place to engage in personal conversations, about how we feel about a given situation, and to discuss culture-related issues.
- 🔮 Fridays from the Future: perhaps the best, we talk about general culture, the future and innovation. The best way to end the week.
Strategy Meeting
Every Quarter we meet (preferably in presence) to set our goals and strategy for the following months.
General info:
- Participants: co-founders + FTE
- Goal: setting the strategy for the next quarter (main goals, responsibilities, etc.)
- Run by: CEO
Structure:
- 10’ – Values, Mission & Vision
- 30’ – Where are we and where we are going
- 20’ – Planning
Notes:
- Everybody should arrive at the meeting extremely prepared and with clear ideas
- Following the meeting two things should be done:
- computing weekly goals by analyzing strategic goals/KPIs backwards
- setting personal goals based on teams’ goals, responsibilities, skills
Meeting guidelines
- Always answer «yes», «no», «maybe» to calendar events
- No meeting can be run without a clear goal, agenda, and structure
- No «on-the-move» meetings unless we are sure of a stable connection
